Mountain Synagogue is a non-profit Jewish congregation located in Franklin, North Carolina. Membership consists of year-round and seasonal residents, who are dispersed throughout the Western Carolina & North Georgia mountains.
Mountain Synagogue operates with a Board of Directors that administer the overall operation of the Synagogue and Religious Committee that oversees the worship service.
The mission of Mountain Synagogue is to promote our Jewish heritage and traditions and our Jewish community. We accomplish this through Shabbot and Holiday services, life cycle events, social and educational activities, and deep commitment to the preservation of the Jewish people.
